We want the participants to the program to be able to start in September-October. You will be well taken care of on the location that you will have your position. During the program of 14 months, you will be invited to physical meetings with the rest of the participants in the program to so called Basecamps. The Basecamps will include interesting topics that will support your kick start in the company, mill visits and other important things to support your understanding of SSAB in general and the challenging but oh so interesting journey that lies ahead. Besides the Basecamps you will get your very own senior mentor, and individual onboarding program connected to your specific position where you together with your mentor will plan for an individualized customized study trip to any of our SSAB Europe offices to suit you and your development in the best way possible. Beyond the activities related to the program, you will be placed in an actual position and already from the start be introduced to the assignments and tasks related to your position.

About the position
This role will focus on the Supply Chain planning and development. You will be responsible for operational planning tasks and one or more ongoing development projects within Supply Chain (e.g., Quintiq Company Planner). You will do month and week level planning, steer material flow and manage capacity reservations, but also improve our current ways of working, processes, and IT-tools together with stakeholders like sales, production, and IT. This position is preferably placed in Hämeenlinna, but other sites can be considered (e.g., Raahe). Focus is on the supply planning, master scheduling and supply chain development from the SSAB Finnish mills.

Main responsibilities
- Monthly and weekly level load planning for production lines and management of capacity reservations
- Steering of material flow through all production lines in order to utilize our assets in an efficient way and maximize sales possibilities and high service level
- Develop supply chain processes and IT tools
- Be part of SCM team and cooperate with our stakeholders in production, sales, logistics etc.
About You
- Appropriate Technical University or other relevant education. *Recently graduated: maximum 24 months since graduation counted from the start of the program
- Solid English skill
- Solid knowledge in the local language for the location you are applying to
- Mathematical skills and IT-knowledge
- Be curious and open-mindedns
