RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for tech-minded students to put theoretical knowledge into practice in our research and development projects in our Oulu R&D site. You are curious to learn more and excited to do various tasks as part of your job. Your English language skills allow you to communicate in our multicultural environment.
Material Management and Supply Chain Management are responsible for material availability in short-term time horizon by managing and continuously developing the Supply Chain in order to fulfil customer expectations. These organizations are also accountable for Inventory management, supplier collaboration and total landed cost.
As a buyer trainee you will be responsible for purchasing base station products like:
  • Components
  • Units
  • Mechanics

Supply Chain Specialist trainee your work will be related to:
  • Supplier collaboration
  • Component sales
  • Import & Export

In both roles you will work closely with Supply Chain as well as other operations functions, such as production, R&D, different suppliers or other external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
It would be beneficial if you have at least some of the following competences:
  • You have good negotiating skills
  • You have strong communication skills (also in English)
  • Ideally, you are studying Engineering or Economics
  • It would be a beneficial if you have some experience of telecommunications or in purchasing, logistics, production, quality assurance and R&D.
