Osoite We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Embedded Software Development to join the Vaisala Industrial Measurements organization in our headquarters in Vantaa. During the summer, you will participate in the various and diverse embedded Linux Software Development activities of the team developing our industrial transmitter for smart probes.

Our technologies can be found where they matter the most, from hospitals, national parks, and data centers to airports and wind farms all over the world - even on Mars!
You will be part of our multidisciplinary Software Development team consisting of a dozen professionals. You will have an excellent opportunity with the team to continuously develop the transmitter software further to meet the expectations of our customers. In this role, you will work closely with fellow developers, the product owner and scrum master of the team, test engineers and documentation specialists.

- Participate in developing software for the transmitter device
- Design and implement helper and utility scripts
- Maintain the project's CI/CD pipeline
- Help maintain test automation
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- A Software Development student with…
- …a couple of years of experience in Software Development,
- basic skills in Python, and
- an interest in Embedded Software Development.
- Experience with embedded Linux is a plus.
