We are now looking for a Summer trainee to join our Solutions and Services team for approximately 3-4 months (May-end of August). The exact start and duration of the summer internship period will be agreed separately.

This is a paid traineeship. We offer a monthly salary based on the number of credits points you have completed and previous work experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a trainee in Kempower’s After Sales team, you will contribute to making sure that Kempower delivers the best After Sales services and spare parts to customers, acting as a liaison between Kempower Life-Cycle Services team, Sales team, our Authorized Partners and Customers.
Your everyday work can contain e.g. the following tasks:
  • Selling Life-Cycle Service Products such as training and product upgrades, as well as Spare Parts to Kempower customers and partners.
  • Getting to the bottom of the needs and requirements of Kempower customers in terms of aftermarket services and support.
  • Following up and reporting the statuses of offered, sold and provided services.
  • Supporting the rest of your team in various customer-facing and back-office tasks.
  • Daily communication with B2B customers and partners in English.

The position is located in Lahti. Majority of the work is expected to be done on-site, but occasional remote work can be discussed.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
  • On-going Bachelor’s or higher degree education in the field of technology or business administration. You are at least in your 3rd year of studies.
  • You have at least one year of work experience, preferably from a customer-facing support or sales role.
  • You have great presentation and communication skills, and you have the courage and drive to act, push matters and talk to customers.
  • You know your way around computers, and you’re eager to learn to use new systems.
  • You are interested in, and eager to learn about the EV industry, DC-fast charging technology and service business.
  • You’re passionate about supporting customers to grow together and help their EV charging business flourish.

Previous experience in any technical field is seen as an advantage. As our official company language is English, we expect you to have good English skills. Knowledge of Finnish or other languages is a plus, but not required.
