This year, as well as previous years, we are participating in the Responsible Summer Job campaign.What kind of summer job do we offer?
We offer diverse summer jobs in different teams of the global Digital Services and IT function. For example, we are looking for Summer employees for the Development Portfolio and Quality Assurance team for project coordinator and test automation trainee positions.
The development and quality assurance team is responsible for the development of Digital services and IT development projects at Ponsse. In addition to planning and directing project and development tasks, the team's key tasks include quality assurance and testing of software development.
Project coordinator - as a project coordinator, you will get to know the secrets of Digital services and IT system project management as well as practical tasks, and you will play a key role in supporting the project manager and project team. The position benefits include an active and proactive approach to work, fluent management of assignments and good communication skills in both Finnish and English.
As a test automation trainee, you will develop test automation for Digital services and IT mainly by utilising the Robot framework. You are part of an agile software development team. You will receive guidance from the most experienced team members. Coding experience and IT hobbies will be an advantage in the position. In this position, you will get to know the service or software being developed from a vantage point and gain practical experience in quality assurance.
The team's supervisor is Teija Pesonen (Manager, Development portfolio and QA), you can get to know Teija via LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/teijapesonen/ . The team follows Ponsse's remote working practices, which also include presence at the office.The application period ends on 31.3.2024.
