Now, Danfoss Drives is looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient Software Architect to join our team. As a Software Architect, you will bring a wealth of proven experience in Software Architecture, development, and coding across various languages and operating systems. Your expertise in software and application design, coupled with excellent knowledge of modeling methods, will be crucial in shaping the technological landscape of our projects.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Collaborate with Business owners to define the technical platform, roadmap to portfolio long-term goal
• Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for existing software or applications
• Restructure our legacy products and develop a future-proof concept  
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Develop and maintain appropriate technology and workflow for SW development
• Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
• As part of development team, ensure design consistency in architecture and support with hands-on development 
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate has experience in the following areas: 

• Proven experience as Software Architect
• Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.) and operating systems
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• Structured way of working and strong documentational skills
• Good Communication skills
• MSc in computer science, engineering or relevant field
