We are on the lookout for a Technology Leader to join our agile and dynamic KYC Management Domain to lead our agile teams and leaders. This position is strategically centred around enabling Nordea to know our customers (KYC) and provide products and services in a safe, compliant, cost-effective and customer friendly manner.

About this opportunity
As the Service Domain Technology Lead for KYC Management, you are the driving force in delivering on our Business Technology Strategy, driving the transformation of the new operating model (BizDevOps) and delivering on our simplification of Nordea's technology landscape ambitions. You also ensure we drive and develop robust, innovative and high-quality KYC solutions with focus on excellent customer experiences. You will be responsible for implementation of a Global KYC Tool across Nordea for over 8m customers across Business segments from Large Corporates & Institutions and Personal Banking which is a multi year and multi million programme.
What you'll be doing:
  • Leading, motivating, developing and inspiring your team
  • Ensuring and overseeing efficient execution, as well as being accountable for technology Change and Run activities
  • Defining the cross functional team structures, priorities, KPIs and targets for your Service Domain
  • Realising common goals in joint responsibility with the Service Domain Business Lead and the Domain Architect, with focus on defining and delivering on the "how"
  • Resolving ongoing Technology dependencies within the domain and across Service Domains
You will be reporting to the Service Area Technology Lead for Financial Crime Prevention, and as a member of the management team, you are expected to contribute and participate in setting and executing the Technology strategic agenda.

  • Have a solid understanding of technology investments and continually delivering on business needs through direction setting
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, vendors' and 3rd parties, as well as setting direction and communicating priorities in a clear way: both to your technical colleagues and business stakeholder
Your experience and background:
  • Knowledge and experience within the KYC Management Domain, including strategy, objectives and priorities
  • Proven track record delivering business and technology solutions and capabilities within KYC management
  • Value chain mindset, actively seeking value-creation opportunities through technology
  • Deep understanding of KYC management technology trends, risks, standards, strategy and delivery options for change and run
  • Understanding of architecture target state and simplification
  • Strategizing to achieve team & organizational goals that contribute to the formulation of technical delivery roadmaps towards KYC Management Domain vision, mission, design, strategy and OKRs
  • Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of various technology stacks and frameworks that, combined with your leadership skills, supports the coaching and mentoring of IT technical specialists
  • Understanding of the various DevOps and agile practices and how they are integrated in the teams
  • Strong interest in improving our KYC services and new technologies and the ability to communicate technology concepts in a clear and understandable way
