We are looking for a Senior System Specialist to join our Team based in Vantaa, Finland (flexible hybrid working).

What will you be doing in this role?
The Senior System Specialist is a senior expert supporting customer deliveries and ensuring that managed services customers’ requirements are met. Supports product design, development & go to market activities.
The Ideal candidate:
Will have experience of working in an IT Service provider with a focus on infrastructure and network-related projects.
Key skills and experience:
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
- Understanding of broad system entities in terms of infrastructure and applications.
- Independent problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Education suitable for the task, e.g. masters/bachelor’s degree in technical field.
- The employee is expected to have a broad understanding of the following areas:
- Network technology
- Windows servers
- MS SQL Databases
- Knowledge in the following areas is considered an advantage:
- Linux (Debian/Ubuntu Server)
- SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) telephone connection
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- REST-interfaces

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Management of IT systems in the social/healthcare context (personnel alarm systems, nurse call systems, carephone alarm receiving systems)
- Working in co-operation with Tunstall IT organisation and local service providers (f.ex hosting partners, integration platform partners)
- Working in co-operation with colleagues in other Tunstall territories eg. project/support engineers and R/D organizations in UK, Spain, Sweden etc.
- Working as a technical support person for the FI Sales department by managing customer requirements and designing system deployments as well as providing technical insight for tenders
- Working as a 3rd line support for Tunstall FI project- and service/support organisation
- Understanding of Linux servers
- Familiarity with SIP telephony protocol/SIP PBX:s
- Knowledge of containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with APIs (SOAP/REST)
