We are looking for an experienced developer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) organisation. This is an opportunity for you to be part of an international team, eager to support our mission to Protect the Bank: De-risked, Compliant, Secure & Protected.
About this opportunity
In IAM, we provide centralised IAM solutions and standardised IAM services with the ambition to strengthen the security of the bank and act as single point of contact for all units within Nordea, acquiring these solutions and services. IAM belongs to the Cyber Security area within Nordea.
As an experienced developer, you will play a key role in developing and maturing our business critical Authentication & Authorization system, supporting Single Sign On, MFA, Identity Federation, Authorization and Access Management.
What you'll be doing:

• Design and develop our authentication and authorization service in alignment with IAM compliance requirements and security guidelines to support changing business needs
• Develop Access Management solution including coding components in two vendor delivered applications (COTS), coding microservices hosted on k8s platform, developing Ansible playbooks
• Contribute with technical expertise to secure 24x7 uptime
• Take part in managing and improving IAM systems to contribute to risk reduction and compliance for Nordea
• Act as an technical expert and role model
• Work closely with your colleges and share knowledge with others

The role is based in modern premises located centrally in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, or in the Tri-City area in Poland, with the possibility to work partly from home. Please, note the candidate should be located in the country of hire already.

• Are a senior/expert full stack developer with operations skills with focus on end2end solutions

• Have good troubleshooting skills

• Have strong technical competence and documentation skills
• Are fluent in English (spoken and written)

Your experience and background:

• Several years of proven experience working with Access Management solution(s) (experience with IBM Security Verify Access is a plus) including: Single Sign-On, Reverse Proxy Server, Multi Factor Authentication, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2
• You have knowledge about: SAML Identity Federation, LDAP, Oracle DB, Kerberos and RADIUS
• Coding language: Java and Java script, knowledge of Phyton and scripting is a plus
• Knowledge of fundamental security approaches and principles (such as SoD, Least Privilege, Zero Trust)
• Previous experience working in a DevOps team in Agile/Scrum setup
• Understanding of IT processes and system development life cycle
