We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our Aggregates Organization.
The Senior Design Engineer works within technology & solution development and performs engineering activities needed in projects. The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for engineering and preparing product technical documents and BOMs for purchasing and manufacturing. He/she works closely with testing & verification, technology development, and engineering teams to align plans and schedules in technology, solution, and product development projects. The Senior Design Engineer reports to the Manager, Testing and Verification. The location for this role is Tampere.
What you'll do
- Generates design and documentation for the technology & solution development
- Works to select components and materials for testing and prototyping together with the project team
- Works to identify spare and wear part needs for prototypes together with the project team
- Works to create test drive documents for new technologies and solutions together with the project team
- Performs safety, usability, quality, and manufacturability reviews related to testing equipment
Who you are
- Experience in Lokotrack engineering
- Good communication skills, both orally and in writing, fluent in English
- Strong collaboration skills across the organization
- Ability and willingness to spread modularization knowledge across the organization.
