We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our Aggregates Organization. 

 

This is an exciting position in the Automation team of Metso Aggregates Business Area. The Automation Engineering team is responsible for product development and maintenance of control and monitoring systems for crushing and screening equipment. These machines work in harsh environments, which puts a high demand on control system endurance, quality, reliability, and usability. The location for this role is Tampere. 

 

 

What you'll do

 

  • consist of planning, executing, and documenting simulator, machine, and safety validation tests.
  • Tasks will also include the development of testing processes and tools, guiding other testers, and participating in automation engineering tasks.
  • You work closely with internal and external stakeholders globally.


Who you are

 

  • You have a relevant Master's or Bachelor's Degree in the field of automation or similar.
  • You have practical work experience in testing automation systems of working machines and a willingness to become an expert in Automation Testing for Metso crushing and screening equipment.
  • Knowledge of related tools like Jira, Xray, Confluence, and Codesys.
  • The position will require occasional traveling.
