We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our XRF and LIBS Technology Centre in Espoo, Finland. You are responsible for quality reporting, continuous improvement, and quality management system of our Espoo site. You are active and curious member of team and work together with production, production engineering and R&D

You will have colleagues in our Germany and China production facilities with whom you will co-operate and seek best practises.

In this role you would be responsible for:

• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure product conformance.
• Quality reporting.
• Handling of customer and supplier reclamation.
• Support the investigation and the resolution of quality issues.
• Drive the spirit of continuous improvement.
• Maintain quality management system and quality documentation.

The person we are looking for has:

• Degree in an engineering discipline or other relevant work experience.
• Cleanroom and/or other manufacturing experience is a benefit.
• Experience of Lean, SixSigma and systematic problem-solving methods are valued.
• Understanding of ISO9001 standard.
• People skills.
• Initiative and data driven approach.
  • Experience about WATS, Atlassian Jira and Microsoft Power BI is a benefit.
• Communication skills in English and Finnish, both spoken and written.
