Metsä Spring is looking for temporary

PROJECT ENGINEER / MANAGER, AUTOMATED MATERIAL HANDLING

for the pre-engineering project of a greenfield 3D Fibre mill at the Rauma mill site in Finland. The pre-engineering phase will include technical mill design combined with operating model, design of infrastructure and automated inhouse product logistics solutions to formulate tendering for the equipment packages and to create capex structure. The pre-engineering for the new 3D Fibre mill is based on fossil-free production and world-class resource and production efficiency.

Your role in the future Metsä

As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for the Automated material handling discipline of the entire 3D Fibre mill pre-engineering project, including technical solutions, safety, costs and schedules. Discipline consists from product packing robots, automated internal material flows including automatically guided vehicles and conveyors, palletizing and dispatch operations. You report to the Project Director and cooperate with the rest of the project organization.

What are we looking for?

We expect you to have a position relevant education and experience in investment project. To be successful in this position you will need to be result-oriented combined with excellent communication and networking skills. You need to be able to work under pressure solving problems pro-actively independently and in the team. You are a fluent communicator in English.
