We at Clevry are looking for a Power BI& Data Platform Developer Trainee for our client Nokia Technologies to Espoo. The position is a part to full-time position with a minimum expectation of 50 % per week. Nokia offers a 12-month fixed-term employment, starting in July 2024.
DAP (Data and Analytics Platform) team provides a centralized place for Nokia Technologies data for analytics solutions and develops Power BI reports for business users. The team is responsible for both development and operations tasks in order to provide value to Nokia's TECH business by providing data and reports.
For this role, we are looking for a current master's degree student in a related field with knowledge of software development and data lifecycle management processes. The Trainee is expected to have experience in data and analytics solutions, as well as strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Further, we see that the open-minded, positive, and proactive attitude as well desire to learn is highly appreciated. For this position, excellent communication skills in English are required and you will work in a hybrid working environment in Espoo.

Main responsibilities
· Data and Analytics platform tasks
· Involving in technical solution discussions with the team
· Developing Data Pipelines from source to DAP (Data Ingestion, Data Processing and Data Storing)
Expectations
· Current master's student in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, etc.)
· Experience in Data and Analytics solutions as follows:
o understanding of the basis of data modeling (Data Vault and Relational) and databases (Azure SQL)
o understanding of the basis of data pipeline processes (Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic App, Azure Automation Account)
o understanding of the basis of storages (Azure Data Lake Storage), access control, and networking
· Strong and positive interpersonal skills and a proactive and diligent approach to accomplishing tasks.
· Fluency in both written and oral English and excellent communication skills.
· Strong initiative, analytical skills, and the ability to develop creative solutions.
· Flexible attitude and fast learning skills.
Advantages

· Familiarity with Power BI
· Familiarity with DevOps and Agile working methods
· Familiarity with Data Governance and Data Management principles, processes, and guidelines
