WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Collaborate with inventors and technical teams to identify novel inventions, ranging from measurement hardware and software solutions .
- Conduct and review patent searches to assess the prior art, novelty and non-obviousness of inventions .
- Draft patent applications with external patent attorneys .
- Develop and maintain the intellectual property portfolio for the company .
- Manage company's invention and patenting process .
- Provide guidance and correspondence with patent agents and attorneys, globally.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Batchelor or Master's degree in a technical field such as engineering or physics .
- Experience with patent application drafting and IPR practices either with a law firm or a corporation .
- Understanding of intellectual property rules and regulations .
- Strong analytical problem-solving and technical writing skills.
- Ability to review complex technical documents .
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and inventors .
- Familiarity with patent databases for patent searching and analysis .
- Fluency in English, other language skills are an asset.
