Job Description Summary
We are looking for a Lead System Designer to work on various product designs, specifications and maintenance tasks related to consumable products used with patient monitoring products.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Own the technical product design, system documentation and proof of evidence to product requirements of our consumables.
  • Work with the design team from requirements and change planning to design verification and validation and providing support to manufacturing and field issues.
  • Providing domain expertise to serve as the main integrator between all the involved disciplines and functions to deliver the best quality product.
  • Follow Design Change Process and document completed technical work.
  • Collaborate with related internal design teams, suppliers, and other cross-functions in multi-cultural and global environment.
  • Use expertise to help resolve urgent issues with current consumables (patient sensors and accessories).
  • Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Bio mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting cross-functional relationships, including strong influential and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle or Installed base.
  • Experience from product development or product manufacturing activities.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Finnish language skill is a benefit.
  • EU work permit.
Desired skills
  • Experience in facilitating technical development or project work, including driving regular collaboration mechanisms.
  • Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues.
  • Experience in working in regulated industry under quality management system, like medical devices.
  • Experience with requirements and standards compliance testing.
  • Creative problem solver and team player
