The City of Tampere Trainee Programme runs from 12 Aug to 13 Dec 2024.

You will be paid for your traineeship period. The Tampere University internship voucher would be an advantage. We work in a hybrid working model allowing flexible remote and office working hours.

City of Tampere team of International Affairs welcomes a trainee to work on various internationalization activities of the city organisation. Your tasks include working with different international activities of the city, such as international cooperation projects, international events, and assisting in the visits of international delegations. Your tasks can also consist of data gathering, updating and analysing reports and surveys and assisting in organising workshops and other events.

Working language is English. We expect you to have ability to learn quickly, adaptability and willingness to take care of diverse tasks.

Are you a productive and proactive student of Administration, Business, International Relations, Management or a related degree, and looking for a placement opportunity that gives you responsibility, and experience for the future?

We require minimum two years higher education studies in a suitable field (e.g. Administration, Business, International Relations or Management)
and fluent written and spoken English.

It will be beneficial if you have good IT skills (data search, word processing, updating internet pages).
