As the Head of IT Operations you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT support services and ensuring the smooth operation of the global service desk function. Your role will include a range of responsibilities aimed at providing efficient and effective support to end users while maintaining high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction. This position involves strategic planning, team management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve operational excellence. 

Join us as Head of Operations and this is some of what you'll be doing:  

  • Enhance IT service delivery through cutting-edge technologies like AI, automation, and chatbots, streamlining processes and elevating efficiency 
  • Focus on user satisfaction by providing swift, tailored, and superior support, aiming to surpass expectations 
  • Offer multi-channel support through email, phone, chat, and self-service, ensuring a smooth and accessible assistance experience 
  • Implement proactive problem management to preemptively solve issues, reducing disruptions and enhancing reliability 
  • Harmonize with ITSM processes and tools for consistent and aligned operations across the organization 
  • Leverage analytics for insightful service performance reviews, user satisfaction, and improvement opportunities, promoting strategic decision-making and ongoing enhancement. 
  • Embrace a Knowledge-Centric Approach, creating a comprehensive knowledge base for effective information sharing and support optimization 

 
In your role, you'll be pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency, elevating IT support services, and contributing significantly to organizational success. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain a user-centric approach for high-quality, timely support 
  • Offer multi-channel support (email, phone, chat, self-service) for seamless user assistance. 
  • Engage in proactive problem management to minimize disruptions 
  • Align with ITSM processes (incident, change, asset management) for organizational consistency 
  • Utilize analytics for service performance insights and continuous improvement 
  • Develop a knowledge base for efficient information sharing 
  • Develop and Manage the Budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adhere to financial goals 

 
Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • Excellent Leadership, Communication, problem-solving and Interpersonal skills 
  • The ability to inspire and motivate teams, build strong relationships and influence stakeholders on all levels 
  • Strong proven track record in IT Operations Management 
  • You focus on innovation, continuous improvement and on delivering results 
  • Deep Knowledge of current IT technologies and trends and industry trends 
  • Project Management experience / certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 or ITIL)
