Here's where you'll make an impact (job description)

We are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller to join our EVS accounting team. Your role will be in the operative finance function. Your expertise is needed in a wide variety of bookkeeping and general ledger related job tasks, monthly closing work and reporting and development work. You will give support to all our in-house operations as needed and be the expert in VAT and income tax matters. You will also have a great opportunity to help shaping future finance processes and robotics to enhance continuous development, operational excellence and profitability in our operations.
 

Our offices are in Salo and Turku. In this position it is possible to work in either of the location with a possibility to remote and flexible working.

We wish you to have

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or long proven record of relevant work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of VAT and corporate income tax
• Knowledge of Finnish accounting standards (FAS) and IFRS
• Solid understanding of financial processes, practices and systems is considered a benefit
• Excellent MS Excel skills is a must
• Experience with SAP is considered as an asset
• Accuracy and attention to detail, yet hands-on mentality, paired with a flexible work style to cope with a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and cooperation
• Fluent skills in Finnish and in English
