We are now looking for
Engineering Manager, Product Data & Configuration Management
to join F-35 Forward Fuselage Assembly project team.
In this role you will be responsible for setting up manufacturing definition (manufacturing processes and documentation) for the product based on customer’s manufacturing information. You will also be responsible for setting up Product Data and Configuration Management process and you are responsible for defining IT-systems to execute them.
In this position you will capture together with your team the technical knowhow of the product and its manufacturing processes. The knowhow of the product enables you and your team to support production operations and participate Material Review Board (MRB) process by preparing analyses and proposing solutions for MRB decisions. This requires close co-operation with the aircraft manufacturer and the project team.
You will establish and lead a respective expert team that executes the stand-up activities with you.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a manager who is experienced in manufacturing engineering and product Configuration Management processes in a technology industry.
We expect you are a good team leader having proactive and innovative mindset and high motivation to learn more. Nevertheless, still having a good attention to details.
Essential is your systematic approach for problem solving and good communication skills.
The chosen employee must have:
- Multi-year experience in manufacturing engineering and product Configuration Management in the technology industry.
- University degree in appropriate area.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing and capability to produce professional level documents in both Finnish and English.
