Data Management Specialist

About the Role:

As a Data Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in advancing our Data Management practices, influencing areas such as metaData Management, data quality, information architecture, regulatory compliance, access management and data governance. Your responsibilities will involve active collaboration with key stakeholders including data consumers, data protection office, IT security, architecture, data platform owners, and data producers to ensure data availability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and promote the adoption of our Data Catalog.
• Drive governance enablement and assess business value from various initiatives, including adherence to policies, guidelines, and standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data quality, information models, consistency, and compliance.
• Lead the definition of data standards and measure value realization from data.
• Cooperate with and guide stakeholders in matters related to access management, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.
• Explore and identify best practice Data Management solutions and principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in a specialist role in analytics or data engineering.
• Genuine interest and passion for data in various forms, from master data to analytics and value realization.
• Experience driving and coordinating large, complex initiatives within data & analytics.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to bring clarity to complex themes.
• Fluent in English.

The practical

Location: One of our offices in either Norway, Sweden or Finland

Travel: Occasional travel within the Nordic countries.

Start: As soon as possible/by agreement
