This position is located in Lappeenranta, Tampere or Vaasa. 

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the electrification of on- and off-highway vehicles through new product development projects. In this position you will

-    Review Bills of Material (BOM) of PCBA's for obsolescence, hazardous material, and other design criteria's
-    Provide alternative suggestion for components
-    Identify End of the Life (EOL) and Not recommended for New Design (NRND) components, and support resolution 
-    Technical interface between PCBA suppliers, product design team and procurement

Background & Skills

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have: 

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
-+3 years of experience working with product design and development and/or engineering research
- Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline committed environment
- Being an effective team player, yet not afraid of working independently or taking responsibility
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Awareness of obsolescence tools like Silicon expert
 

Appreciated skills and qualifications:

- Proficiency in OrCAD and Teamcenter PLM

- Understanding of functional safety (especially ISO 26262) and experience of developing products for automotive industry
