We are looking for a proactive and motivated
CARGO OFFICE SUPERVISOR
to join our Cargo Operations organization. The Cargo Office Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily shifts and activities in the COOL Cargo office functions. Cargo Office Supervisor leads a highly professional team of Cargo Service Agents to ensure high quality and safe operations in a modern COOL cargo handling facility.
Main responsibilities:
Lead the Cargo Service Agent teams and enable Finnair's P&C values within the teams.
Responsible for flight safety and security within the operations
Allocating daily tasks and responding to the need for prioritization of tasks during the day.
Monitor the KPIs and adjust the resources of COOL office employees' long term and short term (Daily adjustments and roster planning development)
Collaboration with Network Supervisors, COOL warehouse provider and other relevant stakeholders
Participating in continuous process development; Own specified process areas and support the Coach and Service Delivery Managers in the development of the COOL operational processes.
Ensuring smooth process flow by taking responsibility and steering the teams in irregularity situations
Our expectations:
Strong overall cargo business understanding / knowledge
Minimum of 3 years work experience in logistics-related industry
Strong people leadership skills and willingness to work with people
Process thinking with a can-do attitude
Strong organizing and problem-solving skills together with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to monitor and make decisions in a complex and time constraint operational environment
Encouraging and coaching working style with strong communication- and co-operation skills
Good communication- and reporting skills both in Finnish and English
Good MS Office skills
This position requires willingness and ability for shiftwork as Finnair Cargo operates 24/7 every day of the year. Collective Labor Agreement applied for this position is Finnair's Upper White Collar Workers agreement (Finnairin Insinöörit ja Ylemmät FINTO työehtosopimus).
This position offers you the opportunity to both utilize and develop your own management and people skills with the dedicated support of Cargo management. Cargo Office Supervisors report to the Cargo Service Delivery Manager, COOL.
