Cargotec Country Finance is strengthening the organisation due to the possible separation of Kalmar and Hiab and is hiring an accounting professional to be part of this journey. We are looking for an accounting professional to join the Cargotec Country Finance Team as Accountant, Local compliance. The position will be transferred to Kalmar after the possible separation.
The position is located in Tampere and reports directly to the Country Finance Manager, Finland.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Supporting Country Finance Manager with Local Compliance related tasks (financial statements, tax reporting)
- Acting as a backup for the Country Finance Manager (CFM)
- Coordinating and controlling for parent company treasury accounting
- Taking care of payroll related accounting transactions, completeness and accuracy of all payroll accounting activities
- Ad Hoc tasks related to the ITP process.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Degree in accounting/finance/economics or equal qualification
- Experience in accounting and payroll process
- Experience in treasury accounting
- SAP and HFM knowledge needed/required
- Good understanding of Finnish payroll accounting
- Good team working skills
- Fluent spoken and written in English and Finnish
- Ability to deliver accurate and high quality work under pressure
- Knowledge of local statutory accounting and IFRS.
