Trainees to Large Corporates & Institutions, Spring and Autumn 2024
Danske Bank's Large Corporates & Institutions is looking for motivated candidates to join our Capital Markets and Corporate Banking Trainee programme for spring and autumn 2024. The spring Trainee programme lasts for 7 months starting in January 2024 and the autumn programme for 5 months starting in August 2024. The role is based in our offices in the centre of Helsinki in Kasarmikatu.
An opportunity to gain insight from the best in the business
As a Trainee you will join our high-performing team and play an important role in supporting the team members in daily tasks such as financial modelling, trading, sales, valuation, market research, and preparation of analysis and presentation materials. You will gain understanding of the financial markets as well as the corporate and investment banking industry while developing your analytical and communication skills. In addition, you will have an opportunity to visit other teams and build a valuable network within Danske Bank. The Trainee programme includes a rotation between two teams.
Trainee programme rotations are offered in the following teams:

Genuine passion for financial markets combined with relevant background
You are a minimum third year university student in a relevant subject. Furthermore, you should have a genuine interest in the banking and capital markets, as well as high motivation to perform both academically and professionally. We encourage all motivated students to apply despite the major studied.
In order to do well in this role, you should have solid analytical and communication skills (both in Finnish and English). In addition, we value responsible team players with a curious attitude as well as the ability to learn new things and assume new responsibility quickly.
