Sales Manager, Export

at Fazer Mills in Lahti, Finland, part of Fazer Cereals BU

As Sales Manager, Export you will be responsible for B2B sales of Milling products to both direct customers and through distributors in international markets. You will prepare sales plans and budgets for execution and search for new leads and opportunities to increase sales. You will act as key account manager to ensure close partnership and active collaboration with customers and acquire new customers, as well as monitor customer needs, products and trends in relevant markets. You will cooperate closely with the entire Cereals BU organization, e.g. export team, logistics, production, product development and controlling, and report to the Commercial Director, Cereals B2B Business.

This fixed-term contract is for a period up to the end of December 2025 and it will serve as a valuable stepping point to potential future employment opportunities.

You will be based in Lahti or Vantaa, Finland. The position requires frequent travelling in Europe and possibly in other regions.

What you will bring to the team?

In order to succeed in this role, you have experience in B2B sales and key account management in an international environment, as well as in export business. You have a proven track record of past success and your proficiency is based on a degree in business administration, milling, food technology or another relevant area. Experience in food/baking/milling industry is an asset. Result achievement is your greatest motivator and you are ready to go the extra mile and find new opportunities. You are ambitious and responsible, and you have a good drive and strong organizational and analytical skills. You are a great communicator with excellent negotiation skills, and you communicate fluently in English. Other language skills are seen as an asset.
