We are looking for an analytical and development minded professional to join EMEA quality team as Quality Engineer, Analytics and Business Process Development. Person we are looking for enjoys working hands-on developing processes and tools and is ready to lead related development projects of international scope. You will be working closely with business supporting them in definition and follow up of process performance metrics. You will develop EMEA quality metrics and automated reports by identifying improvement opportunities and improving the access to relevant business information. As part of quality team, you will contribute to development of continuous improvement culture and skills. The scope of your responsibilities is EMEA wide, and you have good possibility to positively impact on Valmet quality performance towards our customers. You'll report to the Director, EMEA Quality.

In this role you will:
- Lead EMEA operations' analytics development and improve data-driven decision making
- Develop reporting and data analysis by building automatic reports, dashboards and KPIs
- Support EMEA organization in analytical development work and process improvement
- Participate and lead assigned development projects and improvement initiatives
- Facilitate and conduct process audits, root cause analysis and support continuous improvement
- Provide quality training and coaching to EMEA organization
- Participate EMEA quality reporting
- Contribute to quality communication
Expectations:
To succeed in this position, you need to be a team player with great communication and networking skills. Willingness to learn new things as well as ability to take responsibility and lead development work in international business environment are essential in this role.
We also expect you to have:
- Degree (BSc or MSc) in engineering or business fields
- At least 5 years of experience in quality, business, or operations development roles
- Great analytical, statistical and IT skills
- Practical experience from data driven process improvement, Six sigma certification is seen as a benefit
- Previous experience from ERP and other IT solution development or implementation is a benefit
- Excellent influencing and co-operation skills, ability to challenge current way of working
- Good project management and facilitation skills
- Good communication skills, fluent written and verbal English
- Availability and willingness to travel
