Eolus is a pioneer within renewable energy development and is one of the first commercial developers of renewable energy in northern Europe. Eolus was founded in Sweden in 1990 and is active within onshore and offshore wind power, PV, and battery storage with activities in Europe and North America. Our aim is to create a sustainable society and we continue to build our company with knowledge, commitment, and drive. To lead the way towards a renewable future we are looking for a Communication Specialist to join Eolus.

In this roleyou will lead and execute local communication activities for Eolus in Finland. This includes strengthening the Eolus brand by creating content for Eolus.fi, Eolus Finland's LinkedIn, identifying PR opportunities, and contributing to employer branding activities. You will also work with project communications in our renewable energy projects. The project communication is an important part of the project development process, and your work will have a direct effect to drive our projects closer to realization. Your work will include creating communication strategies and plans, formulating texts, creating presentations, letters, newsletters, social media content, project websites, PR activities, etc. The role also includes handling media requests and arranging media events, as well as participating in meetings with local communities, politicians, and NGOs. In cooperation with the Group Communication team in Sweden, the country manager for Finland, and colleagues in Espoo you will be a part of realizing Eolus' projects in Finland.

We are looking for you who has at least three years of experience from both practical and strategic communication and a great interest in renewable energy and sustainability. You are a skilled writer who quickly absorbs complex knowledge and translates it into messages for different types of stakeholders and target groups. You know the media landscape in Finland and are used to handling media relations. You have experience from producing, editing, and publishing content on the web (preferably WordPress) and social media. Experience from communication in development projects, for example in infrastructure and/or city planning is an advantage.

Your primary place of work will be from our office in Espoo with the possibility to work remotely two days a week. Since our projects are in different parts of Finland, traveling is required from time to time and fluency in both Finnish and English is required. Swedish is seen as an advantage.
