We are looking for an experienced CTO to lead the development of a growing and market-leading driving education software. You will be based in our Oulu office.

As CTO, you will lead our software development and will be responsible for our technology choices, together with a technical team of approximately 20 employees. As a CTO, you will play a critical role in shaping our group's technological vision, strategy, and future growth. With your leadership, you help our developers to be motivated and efficient and constantly ready to renew our working methods as well as the technologies we use. Key responsibilities in your role include:
- Developing and executing our technology strategy and deciding on technologies and architecture, aligned with our goals and market trends.
- Leading our software development team.
- Evaluate and implement new software development tools to improve efficiency.
- Fostering a culture of innovation by encouraging creativity and risk-taking.
- Ensure that the technological processes and services meet all requirements, laws and regulations.
- Close cooperation with other Datadrivers key personnel.
We expect our future CTO to have a strong understanding of current technology trends, software development practices, and infrastructure architectures. You have strategic thinking skills and good problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to anticipate future technological needs and trends. Excellent leadership and communication skills, the ability to inspire teams and discuss technology strategies with different stakeholders are important for the role.
We hope you have at least 10 years of experience in technology and leadership roles, a strong track record in leading teams and delivering innovative technology solutions. We expect you to have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or another related field, in addition, having a master's degree or MBA degree will be an advantage. Fluency in English is required for the job, Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.
